similar opinion to Eclipse8472.
Same wifi disconnects. Plus the download links take you to an adfly Spam page.

What on earth is going on Linx?

This tablet is so unreliable now i barely use it.

Pretty soon it'll be going back to the retailer unless a fix is not forthcoming.

Cheers

After updated Windows 10 10586, I ran driver update from device manager to see if there are new driver for Realtek RTL8723BS then it detected new driver and updated. I checked new driver version is 3008.17.817.2015 dated 09/09/2015.

How has your WIFI been since updating? reading through various posts this seems to be a wider issue across all linx devices with Windows 10 and Sleeping.

Hi I've recently brought a Linc 10 10 running Windows 10. They WiFi is terrible and I have to be be pretty much standing next to my router to get a signal. Anyone have any help on making any better it's so bad it's almost unusable. The wireless lab adapter is RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11 SDIO. The driver my tablet came installed with is 3008.8.401.2025. Thanks in advance.

Reading through various posts, the current work-around is to turn off sleep (power settings); battery life will be a bit shorter, but wifi will at least work then

Just couple of things might help you, that I think fixed my WiFi issues:

WiFi driver advanced settings
- Wireless Mode - turn on b/g
- Multi-Channel Concurrent - Enabled

System, Power & Sleep
- Untick both WiFi connected while asleep settings

WiFi Properties
- Untick ipv6

+ reboot

I've had similar problems with wifi on my new Linx 1010B which came with Windows 10. Works great for a while, then still shows as connected but I get no response from the internet or even the local router, and it shows up as "No Internet".

I came across a suggestion to change from wireless mode b/g/n to wireless mode b/g and this helped but did not fix the problem. It seemed to work ok on the wifi at my work (though maybe I didn't test it as much) but not at home, so I swapped my home router. Still had the same problem.

I returned the tablet and got a replacement. Exactly the same problem. Then I found Zibi81's suggestion and tried Multi-Channel Concurrent - Enabled and switched off v6. The problem was still there but I discovered something very interesting and useful. If I switched Multi-Channel Concurrent back to Disabled then the wifi started working perfectly for a while. Then when it went wrong I could toggle it back to Enabled and it was OK again. Quite annoying but I like the Linx otherwise so I may stick with it this time. I've put a shortcut tile on the start screen so I can access the properties quickly.

I have a couple of question: Zibi81 also suggested "Untick both WiFi connected while asleep settings" but I can't find this in pwer options. Where do I find it?

Also, my Realtek RTL8723BS driver is 3008.8.401.2015 dated 15/105/2015. AthlonXP1800 mentioned that Windows installed 3008.17.817.2015 dated 09/09/2015 when updating the driver. Mine won't update. Not sure if the new one is better (AthlonXP1800 could you let us know?) but where can I find it.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. Let's hope there is a proper fix for this soon. I found one suggestion here to downgrade the driver - http://linxtablet.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f ... wifi#p8649. May try this one soon.
