Thanks for posting, where did you find this?
When I try updating the driver via device manager it tells me I have the latest version
Driver version: 3007.3.715.2014
Release date: 14/08/2014

Has anyone tried this version on the Linx 10 yet?

I tried this driver on my Linx10 and it would not extract or run the setup.

Thanks for these. FYI change log I found searching for the driver version was interesting:
3007.10.1031.2014 (2014.11.12) -> 3007.10.1031.2014 (2014.11.21)

1. Provides improved battery life.
2. Fixes an issue where the WLAN consumes more power than expected while the system is connected to an access point.

Where are these drivers come from. I always worry about installing ones from unknown sources.

I'd just like to add I'm a new Linx 8 user (bought it 2 days ago) and am absolutely loving it so far. After an initial full charge I installed all updates etc, then charged it overnight and took it off charge at around 8am. I then left it asleep (rather than turned off) and when I next turned it on at around 12pm it was down to 81% battery. So I had around 5% battery loss per hour when asleep. Nothing running, bluetooth off, no SD card in, completely stock install apart from all available updates installed.

I switched to the drivers posted above:
Realtek_Wifi_3007.10.1031.2014_2014.11.21.zip
http://cfile8.uf.tistory.com/attach/222 ... 14051DB826

(copied the files to the Linx, went to device manager, selected the realteck wifi adaptor, right-click -> update driver, selected the folder where the drivers were, update).
It picked up the new driver and installed it fine. I then rebooted the Linx (power button pressed until sliding power off option appears, power off, then power button again to restart).

I then put it to sleep again and awoke it over 2 hours later. I saw 1% battery loss, so around 0.5% per hour. As posted elsewhere a 10x improvement.

I will keep monitoring but looks good so far :)

I updated to the 3007.10.1031.2014 drivers and all seems well so far. I am keeping an eye on the battery level to see if there is an improvement. I had been seeing a 10% per hour drop this morning but that was including the keyboard wake issue so every now and then I would see the screen light up. Will update with battery improvement. alrightmate's method of updating the wifi drivers is the way to go if anyone is confused by not having an .exe or .msi program to run.

Further update: The driver has definitely helped my Wifi drain on sleep -> much better now and I actually see (in sleepstudy report) that when the tablet is asleep the Wifi usage is 0% and it's marked as "Disengaged" for most of the entire period of sleep.

However since installing some Metro apps last night (eBay, Addes some News feeds to News app, Metro Tube, Splashtop personal remote desktop client) I'm now getting between 2 and 3% battery loss per hour when in sleep. SleepStudy report shows nothing is using it and Wifi. BT, SD card usage is all almost 0%. Something is using my battery though and I can't tell what :( Might have to run a proper sleep usage trace.

What's everyone else's battery usage like? For people who have no problems with Wifi or BT drivers what % drop do you see when in sleep? Is 2% per hour normal for the Linx 8?

Have you tried checking "Task Scheduler" It may be that ebay and the news feeds are set to update at regular intervals (obviously that is the point) but perhaps you could reduce the interval or turn it off in standby? I haven't delved that deep but I will be keeping an eye on it as I add more apps. I know that CCleaner and avast have added scheduled tasks.

I have updated my Linx 10 with the latest bluetooth and wifi drivers I now only loose about 1% per hour.
