[All Devices] Realtek RTL8723BS WiFi/Bluetooth Driver

If you've lost your drivers, they'll probably be in here!

I have managed to fix the problem - or at least, have not seen it occur through a number of sleeps, hibernations and intensive network use.

The solution I found is to install driver 3007.10.1031.2014 dated 21/11/2014. I found this on the HP site - You need to be registered to view this link, please log-in or register. Although it is stated to be for Windows 8.1 it works fine on my Linx 1010B with Windows 10.

After downloading the sp70339.exe file and installing it, then rebooting, the installed Realtek driver did not change (the faulty version that was already installed is 3008.8.401.2015 dated 15/05/2015). But I was then able to install it as follows:
- open Device Manager
Find the Realtek RTL8723BS device listed under Network adapters
- right-click and select "Update Driver Software"
- select "Browse my computer for driver software"
- select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
This should list two drivers, the one previously installed and the newly downloaded one i.e. 3007.10.1031.2014 . If you click on this it installs in seconds.

After this the default settings seem to work fine i.e. no need to fiddle with advanced properties and, more importantly, no wifi dropouts.

Warning: I found a slightly older driver on a Toshiba site and tried installing this before I tried the HP driver. That was a disaster. The tablet spent 30 mins saying it was installing the driver after which I forced a reboot since I couldn't kill the install. It left me with a tablet that needed a complete Windows reset that took several hours and meant I lost my settings and installed apps. Be warned! Updating drivers can be hazardous.

I hope this information is helpful for the quite large number of people who seem to have wifi problems with their Linx Windows 10 tablet.

Hi, can anyone post a link to the latest drivers, please? I've just purchased a Linx 8 (and upgraded to Windows 10) and I'm loving it, except for the battery drain! It loses around 30% an hour in use, so I only get about 2.5 - 3 hrs of mixed use out of one charge. I also can't leave it in sleep mode throughout the day, as I lose 50% or more battery. I see this is a common problem. I plan to try updating this driver, as it seems to be the most common culprit, but every link I've tried on the forum is no longer found.

Where can I download driver 3007.9.1015.2014, please? All the links in the forum that I've followed are now dead.

Not working for me. WIFI stayed on a little longer, but after leaving the tablet for an hour it can't see any wifi networks around. Still have to do a cold restart (shutdown for a couple of minutes and then start back up) to connect back up.

im experiencing exactly the same issue as Eclipse. Bought the tablet 1010b yesterday with Win 10 installed. I am on VM with a superhub and experience limited connectivity very frequently. Strangely though yesterday i had no issues at all. I spent the entire day downloading streaming and browsing with no issues. left Windows updates configuring overnight and then this morning the issues began.
Tried severalndifferent suggested fixes including updating wlan driver but no cigar.
May try changing wireless settings to diff method of encryption and trialling + seeing how it performs on my work wireless network tomorrow.
if i still have issues im going to try resetting to factory defaults (if that possible?) and see if i can delay win updates. if that is the problem then unfortunately will be taking back for a refund. So dissapointing...... i loved this thing until about 8am this morning!

##UPDATE##
Finding the same issue occurs on 3007.10.1031.2015 & 3008.8.401.2015

Have now tested both above drivers on home, work and 3G networks with intermittent disconnects, limited connectivity on all three.

Currently sitting on latest driver as the speed seems significantly improved and when disconnects happen at least it states "Limited - No Internet Access" where as the 2014 driver still stated connected all the time.

I have now contacted Linx support about the issue and awaiting reply. PC World have stated they will issue a full refund or exchange but have said I would much rather we come to a resolution rather than giving up.

Realised that I am not yet on Win 10 Ver 1511 yet so am installing that now and will test both drivers again.
