[All Devices] Realtek RTL8723BS WiFi/Bluetooth Driver
Re: [All Devices] Realtek RTL8723BS WiFi/Bluetooth Driver
Hi Geoff,
I'm experiencing the same problems with driver version 3008.8.0401.2015 and have the latest Windows 10 updates Ver 1511 installed same problem. Did the linx support provide any detail on the issue?
Has anyone tried a USB Wireless adapter to see if that would workaround the issue?
Cheers,
Chris

The solution I found is to install driver 3007.10.1031.2014 dated 21/11/2014. I found this on the HP site - You need to be registered to view this link, please log-in or register. Although it is stated to be for Windows 8.1 it works fine on my Linx 1010B with Windows 10....
Thanks joefroid, I'm on testing this driver now, first impressions are it is better than the latest from Windows Update, still may have some performance issues but useable up to now which the latest driver is not after the tablet sleeps.
With all Windows Updates on, the latest I've tried is 3008.17.817.2015 connects OK at first but has virtually no throughput after a sleep.
To get 3007.10.1031.2014 from HP, I used the link on joefroid's post (partially quoted above) and downloaded sp70339.exe from HP then extracted with 7-zip.
I then did the Driver Update > Browse my computer... > let me pick > Have Disk..., pointed it at the extracted folder: sp70339\RTWLANS_Driver\Win81X86
Will update after I've tried it for a bit longer.

I've even seen the included driver cause a bluescreen, I went to turn wifi off and back on at the action centre panel and then it flashed up with a sad face.
Any word on what driver is the go to?
Do all these Linx tablets share the same card?

Is there any news on best driver for 1010b yet? I've tried both windows update latest driver and the older 3008.8.401.2015, both seem to have the same problems of random dropouts.

100% sure its the tablet / driver and not the router?

thought i might check this page again to see if theres any resolution. Guess not.
I pretty much stopped using it except only for short periods of time, and I hardly notice the issue anymore.
It's probably something silly like overheating or something.

After finally managing to get Anniversary Update, ( had forgotten to remove SD card from slot first and update kept getting stuck at 93% and failing), I notice that the driver version for the network card is 3008.30.315.2016 dated 01/04/2016. I wonder if this will help those with wifi problems.
